From Edolo to Corteno Golgi

Between Valle Camonica and Valtellina Having reached Edolo by car, you proceed towards the Passo dell'Aprica and take the turning to your left in the town which coincides with the indications for the station: here you can park your car in the vicinity. Travel by bicycle along Viale Derna for two hundred metres, then turn left into Via Generale Triboldi. Carry on straight ahead past the cemetery leaving the town, and taking the only level road which passes through the valley bottom to the right of the river Ogliolo, you reach the opposite side of the torrent. Having passed through the wood, you climb for a little less than two kilometres, then the route becomes level until Santicolo. You pass through this hamlet carrying on towards Corteno Golgi; at the end of the descent after the built-up area of Santicolo, you will see some large sheds to your right, and you turn in the direction of these towards Lombro. Just past the bridge over the Ogliolo you continue to your right amidst the houses of Lombro, then you cycle along dirt track travelling a stretch of road which is pleasant and relaxing. At the junction you take the right, and you come across an asphalted surface near to the bridge over the torrent which flows down the Valle di Guspessa. Straight after the bridge, you turn right along the state road for just a few hundred metres, then you turn left passing between the dwellings of Cortenedolo and under the characteristic vaults. At the crossroads, proceed left along Via S. Giorgio, and subsequently straight on past the church and the playing field. Passing the church of San Sebastiano, you reach Vico slightly uphill, then you proceed along an asphalt surface downhill, quickly losing height via a long series of steeps bends. At the crossroads with the state road, you turn left as far as Edolo, and from there right into Viale Derna until you reach the large square of the station.
